A graduate of the school of business at State University of New York at Albany, she holds a CPA as well as a CFP designation and is a frequent commentator representing Ernst and Young on national broadcast news and for the print media. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society of Public Accountants. Elda is also an expert on the single life. She was married for the first time at age 36.
