Biography: Joseph P. Quinlan is a Vice President, Senior International Economist at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in New York City. Quinlan has published more than 125 articles on international economics and trade and is the author of a previous book entitled
Vietnam: Business Opportunities and Risks (Pacific View Press). He also lectures on global business and finance at New York University, where he has been on the faculty for the past six years. He was nominated as an Eisenhower Fellow in 1998. Quinlan resides in Buckingham, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Karen, and three children.
Kathryn L. Stevens is a graduate of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. An Asia specialist, she has studied and worked in Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong. Previously employed by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Stevens now resides in New York City with her husband, Chris, and two small sons.
